The Nappan United will hold a Pancake Brunch on Saturday April 4, 2015. This will replace their traditional roast beef dinner on sale day. The pancake brunch will run from 10am to 2pm and will feature homemade pancakes, baked beans, sausage, apple sauce, biscuits with maple butter, hot-cross buns, sweets, tea and coffee.
The 42nd Annual breeding stock sale of the Maritime Beef Testing Society will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015. Please check back for regular updates and continue to check the Bull Report Page for updated weight and EGR reports.
The sale will be live streamed again in 2015 and telephone bidding will be available to those who preregister. To register, please contact the Test Station by phone or email prior to April 3, 2015.

Farm Safety Nova Scotia and Canadian Farmers with Disabilities Registry are partnering to offer the one-day workshop to farmers and industry stakeholders at no cost.
This training is geared toward anyone involved in the agricultural industry that is required to communicate safe farm practices to youth, agricultural workers, volunteers, and the general public. The workshop will provide training on best practices to communicate the message of agricultural safety and provide an overview of the basics of safety.
March 15th – 21st is Canadian Agricultural Safety Week and the Media Launch of CASW in Nova Scotia will take place at the workshop. We will hear from the Honourable Minister Keith Colwell and representatives of Farm Safety Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture and the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association.
